Kay-Sara Ballooning & Aviation, Inc. was founded in 2006, in Wellsville, NY. The company (named after our daughters, Kailey and Sara) is delighted to share our love of flying with anyone open to the adventure.

Your pilot will be Jason Krug.
Jason took his first balloon flight in 2000. Jason then went on to earn his commercial balloon pilot license. In addition to being a balloon pilot, Jason is also a corporate aviation pilot. He has been flying since he was 16, and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Jason is also a certified flight instructor, in airplanes as well as balloons.

Jason is not the only one in the family who loves the sport of ballooning.
Kailey is the oldest of the daughters. She loves taking flight as often as she can. She is becoming a very intregal part of the balloon team as she learns more about the balloons the older she gets.
Sara is the youngest. She has not yet taken flight, but loves to chase the balloon. She is a very good backseat driver.
Heather is the owner of Kay-Sara Ballooning & Aviation, Inc., as well as mother of Kailey and Sara, and wife of Jason. She is also a student balloon pilot. Like Jason and her daughters, she has a very deep passion for the sport of ballooning.
