Your hot air balloon flight will begin with a short drive to a launch site. Once there, the passengers and crew are briefed on the weather and what to expect on our outdoor adventure. Next we begin to prepare for inflation. The balloon is laid out and everything is set into place. Once all of the safety measures have been taken, and everyone is ready, the inflation begins.

The hot air balloon is filled with cold air by an inflation fan. While the balloon is being filled, the pilot is doing his pre-flight inspection. This is a perfect opportunity for you to get some really great photos. Once the balloon is filled and the pilot is satisfied that everything is in working and safe condition, he will begin to perpare to add air.
The pilot will then fill the balloon with hot air. This is done with several burns of propane from the balloon's burner. It is this hot air that makes the balloon rise. Once the balloon is adequately filled and standing up, you will then be instructed to enter the basket. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of crew to help you with this endeavor. Once safely inside the basket, you will then be given instructions to insure your safety throughout the flight.

So, it is finally time to fly! During your sightseeing adventure you will fly over beautiful scenic landscapes and see tons of wildlife. (Please, no sharp shooting from the basket) Although each flight has a life of its own, you will fly approximately one hour. Upon landing, the ground crew will meet you at the landing site. The balloon will then be deflated, packed up and put away.

Once you feet are planted firmly on the ground again, your pilot will give you a brief history of how the hot air balloon came into existence, followed by a champagne toast to celebrate your flight.
